流水的手接觸一切，那些近處的都來了

     ▎我不想起一座橋

     起一座橋的說法，使我驚懼。我站着的那座海岸突然變成一隻手，持着指向彼岸的定向儀。由是這些都不由自主地連結起來。這紐帶使我想起連接號。德語—法語。並沒有魔棒使人將第一與第二字變成另一詞。

     當我自言自語，就意外進入了彼岸之字符。此橋還是彼橋？舌頭太軟，言語聽上去不如其是。太初有字，字是甚麼？就如橋下縫隙。橋下有河流動且沉睡。在那兒，我遇到一些人，並向他們發問：我們想就此坐在岸邊，並拉近字典裏的間隙？要像打開一本書般打開空隙？還是要建立一條浮途？

     我們為相同間距漆畫的圖片是不同的。有的在水中游、有的在建船、還有一個坐在岸上等降雨。誰去看看，誰就會有弓的形狀？視圖表上的橋可到達彼岸。

     流水的手接觸一切，那些近處的都來了：夏風，煙頭，魚和岸邊的土地。地球對大水無懼。在此種靜默中，沒有任何事物可以通過觸摸被消除。水會找到我們。風的語言？光的聲音？他們也會尋到我們的。

     ▎I Didn’t Want to Bridge Anything

     The expression “to bridge something” shocks me. The bank on which I stand suddenly becomes a hand that holds a club pointed at the other bank. Through that, it is forced into a bond. The bond reminds me of a hyphen. German-French. It’s not a magic wand with which you can transform the first and second words into a third.

     When I talk to myself, a letter accidentally walks into the place of another. A bridge or a blidge? Because the tongue is so soft, the word sounds different from how it looks. What does a word look like anyway? It resembles a blank under a bridge. Under the bridge the river sleeps in motion. I meet people there and ask them: Do you want to sit on the bank and hit blanks into the dictionary? Do you want to open a blank like a book? Or do you want to build a floating path?

     The pictures that we paint from the same blanks are different. One swims into the water, a second builds a boat, and a third sits on the bank and waits for rain. Who can throw a glance that has the shape of an arch? Bridges from glance-arches might reach the other bank.

     The water’s finger touches everything that comes near: Summer air, cigarette butts, fish, and the earth on the bank. The earth has no fear of the water. In this stillness nothing will be extinguish by a touch. The water will find us. And the language of the wind? The sound of the light? They too will find us.
